Our company motto is “promptness & accuracy, hard-working with sincerity and solidarity”. We prioritize quality management. We have two factories in Seongsoo-dong, Seoul, and work with 60 more cooperating companies.

Our sales grew more than 10% every year in the past. We are certified for Korean Standard and ISO 9001. We developed the 24-hr synchronous time-switch for the first time in the world, which obtained EM and CE acknowledgements.

We expect to replace about 10 million USD of current import. We export our product to Japan, Singapore and Israel.

We are one of the leading companies in the world in the electrical wiring tool field.

History

1974. 12 Registered manufacturing facility. Obtained license to make Class 1 electrical products

1988. 08 Changed company name to Shin Sung Electric and new CEO took office

1992. 08 Patent registered for the time switch for the first time in Korea

1997. 03 Patent pending for 24-hr timer (9 patents)

1999. 05 24-hr timer EM mark obtained (for the first time in Korea)

2000. 02 ISO 9001 certified

2000. 02 24-hr time switch CE obtained

2001. 08 24-hr time switch exported to Japan and Singapore (for the first time in Korea)

2003. 11 Received an award from the Minister of Industry and Resources

2003. 11 Grand Prize received as Korea’s 100 Outstanding Patent Products given by Korean Intellectual Property Office

2006. 05 Received an award from the Prime Minister

2008. 03 Patent registered for 1-week time switch

2008. 11 Received an award from the Minister of Energy and Economy given by Energy Management Authority
