Ceramic Coating(Two Liquid Types)

Operation method Normal Ceramic Coating : Remove contaminents -> Sanding -> Coating -> Sintering -> Cooling MegaStone 6000 series : Remove contaminents -> Sanding -> Primer coating -> Top coating -> Sintering -> Cooling Application method Remove contaminants : Surfaces must be clean and dry otherwise, They cause a rough surface, poor adhesion and pin hole of coating. Sanding : The surface should be treatedn with sandblasting, liquid honing, or an equally effective process. When sandblasting, a 60-80mesh sand powder should be used for iron or stainless steel base materials. Mixing : - A liquid(main ingredient) and B liquid(hardener) must be stirred thoroughly for half an hour. - Mixed liquid should be mature for 5~8 hours in the rolling machine. Coating : Coating preparation Firmly seal the container, slowly rotate the container at an angle ten times by hand, and then mix the solution with a rotating mixer until it is evenly dispersed. Do not open containers until ready to use. Keep lid on container when not in use. Filter the solution with a 300-400 mesh stainless steel screen after rotaing enough times. Before coating, substrate to coat with ceramic coating must be warmed up to 50°C. Spray nozzle : 0.8-1.3mm, spray pressure : 1.5-2.5kg/m3 Recommended distence between the spray gun and the substrate : 15-25cm Item Method Coating Thickness Curing Condition Remarks Ceramic Coating Spray 10-15um 230°C x 5min   Megastone 6000 Series Primer Spray 10-15um 230°C x 5min Wet on wet Top 5-10um Sintering- Progressively raise temperature and maintain the maximum temperature for 5 minutes.- Suddenly heating can cause air bubbles and influence adhesion and physical properties. Cauiton Ideal Storage temperature is 4°C~10°C in warehouse and storing period is 3 months The mixing ration will be change according to the color. Ceramic coating must be mix appointed mixing ratio. Mixed ceramic coating must be used in one day.
