What is PDCT?
PDCT (Percutaneous Disc Coagulation Therapy) is a type of therapeutic surgery for disc coagulation and decompression using plasma light. It maximizes safety and efficiency compared to PLDD, which uses conventional lasers and other minimal invasive herniated disc treatment machines. Plasma light has a less than 5% degree of straightness, which enables the surgeons to apply thermal damage only to the selected area, without damaging nearby nerves.
At the primary stage, an optimized cavity is formed in the nucleus pulposus. As a result, the internal pressure is decreased, releasing the pressure of the protruding nucleus pulposus on the nerve.Simultaneously, the protein organization around the area is fixed solidly, preventing relapse.
