The heated wires heat the air in the circuits and maintains the temperature along the tube to ensure continuous delivery of warm
and humid air of optimum level to the patient
Dry gases, in patients with bypassed airways, can disrupt secretion mobility across the muco - cilliary transport system, leading to thickening
of secretions, infective secretions, atelectasis or systemic infection (e.g. VAP)
Heated Circuit Kit III® system can prevent these possible problems by delivering warm and humid air of optimum level to the patient
