INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Asteri® Spinal System is intended for use in anterior/anterolateral, posterior, noncervical pedicle and non-pedicle fixation. This device is limited to skeletally mature patients and is intended to provide additional support during fusion in the treatment of the following indications:
- Degenerative disc disease (defined as back pain of discogenic origin with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies)
- Spondylolisthesis
- Trauma (i.e., fracture or dislocation)
- Deformities or Curvature (i.e., scoliosis, kyphosis, and/or lordosis)
- Spinal stenosis
- Pseudoarthrosis
- Tumor
- Failed previous fusion
