Description

ExiStationTM‚ universal molecular diagnostic system is an automated real-time PCR-based molecular diagnostic system for detection of infectious diseases and SNP genotyping. The system contains three ExiStationTM‚ 16 Dx nucleic acid extraction instruments and one ExiStationTM‚ real-time quantitative thermal cycler. ExiStationTM‚ allows handling up to 48 individual clinical specimens per run. ExiStationTM‚ dispenses the extracted nucleic acids into diagnostic kits automatically, increasing convenience, practicality and reproducibility.

ExiStationTM‚ has three unique features:

  • ExiStationTM‚ is a random-access flexible system able to test three different assays simultaneously on various types of clinical samples such as blood, serum, sputum, urine, swap, and etc.
  • ExiStationTM‚ has the multiplex detection function which can detect 8 pathogens from a single prep with a probebased real-Time PCR technology.
  • ExiStationTM also has a genotyping function with ExiGenotyperTM‚ ExiStationTM‚ system provides blood screening test for HBV/HCV/HIV, viral load tests for HIV, HBV, HCV, CMV, EBV, and BKV, qualitative tests for Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB), TB & multi-drug resistance, sexually transmitted infections, etc, and genotyping tests for Warfarin dose determination (CYP2C9 & VKORC1), CYP2C19, TPMT, ApoE, Factor V Leiden, HLA-B27, and JAK2 V617F.
