Composition
This system is used for spinal internal fixation or fixing devices implanted to correct vertebra dislocation or the curvature of the spine to treat a patient with lumbar bony tissue disease. This product is made from titanium alloy and consists of the screws, rod and set screws. It can utilize the cross link (a device for lateral fixation).
Characteristics
The types of screw are varied and useful for an accurate and fast correction of dislocated bone.
The types of screws and other parts are as follows;
- Mono Screw - (Standard Type) The head is fixed to the body. It is used to correct the bones dislocated not seriously.
- Mono Screw - (Reduction Type) The threads of the head are longer than the standard one so that it can be installed more easily.
- Poly Screw - (Standard Type); The head and the body of the screw can be adjusted separately so it is useful to fix the dislocated bones are deformed or correct vertebrae vertically.
- Poly Screw - (Reduction Type) The head and the body of the screw can be adjusted separately and the head thread area is longer so it is useful to fix the dislocated bones are deformed or correct vertebrae vertically.
- Rod It is placed between the heads of two screws to connect them horizontally.
- Set Screw It is installed inner side of the screw head to ensure the connection between the screw and the rod when a rod is installed in the head of a screw.
- Cross Link It connects and supports a screw and an installed rod laterally.
