A three-month-old bright embryo laments his mother who is strictly preparing to get rid of him. The embryo spends difficult days wondering whether he would indeed be able to see the light of day. He suffers from nightmares of being eaten up by diamond-shaped mud lumps and turns pale with surprise at the news that a quack doctor has taken out an embryo and thrown it in a well. No one welcomes or acknowledges his existence and he gets discouraged by the environment trying to get rid of him. But the embryo meets other embryos who stand firm against worse cruel environments and finds courage. But the embryo’s wish becomes more distant at the news of a 16-week-old embryo, an embryo that is to see the light of day in three days, an embryo with a disability, and the sudden news of his father being fired.
