Overview
To establish a safety system for the stage facilities at theaters, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KTL have jointly prepared operating funds to conduct various projects regarding safety of stage facilities.
Applicable Items
- Operate a permanent stage technical support team
  - Inspect safety of safety-vulnerable venues and technical support
  - Professional technical support for specific facilities (Design review, acoustic assessment, etc.)
- Offer professional technical education for theater managers
  - Safety management of stage facilities (machinery, electricity, control, etc.)
  - Basic features of stage facilities (equipment, lighting, sound, etc.)
- Develop/ distribute safety guidelines and technical standards
  - Develop safety guidelines including theater safety manual
  - Develop national standard (KS) including evaluation criteria for performance of stage facilities

Overview
To prevent safety accident at theaters and for maintenance control, a periodic safety diagnosis shall be done for stage facilities.
