Application of EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) HSG

EGR HSG produced by Sun Machinery is going into Diesel Engines of American & European Auto Makers such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, Fiat, Iveco

1) Function of EGR System : To limit the maximum temperature inside the cylinders by recirculating the exhaust gas into the cylinders. Eventually, limited temperature prevents NOx generation.
2) Characteristics of EGR HSG production : Due to high temperature of exhaust gas, there are complex structures consist of gas channel, cooling channel, ribs and grooves. Therefore, it requires high precisions and tight limitations on dimension tolerance such as concentricity, true position, flow test.
