Occupant Classification Tester

System Overview OC(Occupant Classification) Sensor was developed by IEE and it is used for Advanced airbag system. And, the OC Sensor have very important role that is detecting passenger's weight classification in the advanced airbag system so, it should be checked before shipping to customer. To meet this requirement, Tribit GmbH(Germany) had developed OCS Tester and had supplied vehicle seat manufacturers for checking assembled seat and OC Sensor. For the advanced airbag system, vehicle should have passenger weight classification detection system. One of these detection systems is OCS(Occupant Classification Sensor) that was developed by IEE, and OCS is consisted with many electrical pressure sensors with forms and covers. And, the test seat will be tested under loaded condition by the regulated weights, and OCS Tester will show the loading status for checking sensor activation. So, the software and communication protocols are very important in this test machine same as hardware components and loading mechanism. Tribit had developed this test machine since 2000 year and the software and communication protocol were proven during many projects with IEE already.
