ARCHILIGHT
It is referred to as a multi-layer sheet manufactured through extruding, culling and processing
based on polycarbonate resin. As archilight has a double or triple layer, it is excellent at insulalion for thickness and solid, so it is widely used in architectural exterior materials that require lighting.
In addition, the diffusion of light or visual interruption help create a pleasant interior based on
structural uniqueness.
SPECIAL FEATURE
1) Excellent insulation – it is excellent at heat insulation and maintaining warmth On the back of a inner air layer. It also blocks sound and prevent dew
2) Excellent impact resistance – polycarbonate is excellent at impact resistance and safe, so it can be used in various ways along with Clean Light (250 times stronger than glass & 30 times stronger than acryl)
3) Lighting (characteristics of light) – Archilight diffuses light to prevent glaring and is appropriate to a pleasant shopping place as in arcades in traditional markets. The rate of penetration of sheets used in a traditional marker is about 2 to 20%
4) Light weight – It is 50% lighter than glass and appropriate to tall buildings and others. As it is possible to transport and install with convenience, it helps save labor costs. In particular, as roof lighting materials are lighter than frequently used 3T or 4,5T single-layer sheets, double-layer sheets are widely used not only in Korea but also in some advanced countries.
5) Free curved surface construction – very flexible materials ate appropriate to various curves surface constructions helping create beautiful buildings.
6) Excellent heat resistance, cold resistance and weather resistance – Heat change temperature of polycarbonate is 135 degrees (18.5kg/m2), and it endures -50 to 140 degrees, It realizes high weather resistance on the back of special manufacture methods.
7) Flame resistance – polycarbonate is melt in strong fire, but is does not contribute to worsening a fire.
