CHARIS LED uses copper coated PCB to improve heat sink performance while an aluminum skin may not give off enough cooling. Copper heat sinks have an advantage in removing the heat and lowering the junction temperature.

CHARIS LED incorporates exclusive Smart LED packaging that gives off less heat compared to other LED packaging. Additionally, CHARIS LED utilizes dissipation through the copper coated PCB heat sink holes and the automatic air convection occurring in our exclusive heat sink tunnel structure keeps heat away from the optical chamber.
CHARIS LED housing design provides integral thermal radiation through its tunnel structure with lateral airways on both sides of the housing.
This unique method of constant current control through the open pathway allows airflow to release the heat and keep the junction temperature at minimum. more energy is converted into light than is lost as heat. As a result, CHARIS LED’s uniquely designed and internationally patent heat flow system are driven at lower current and controlled at lower temperature for the longevity of the LEDs.

CHARIS LED’s engineers have created innovation even from the start. By focusing on customized LEDs, PolyOptic™ uses more numbers of LEDs in each fixture than competitor lightings and uses exclusive individual light reflection system. Each individual LED illumination is controlled by its own reflector, which helps to reduce in glare and hot spots. Another complementary advantage of using PolyOptic™ technology is using poly-LEDs which allow uniform ground plane illumination.
