W50DF Engine:

The 4-stroke dual-fuel engine has fuel flexibility with high efficiency which can be run either on natural gas or on liquid fuel. The state of the art engine can operate on boil-off gas which is produced on LNG carriers. The engine fulfils IMO Tier 3 regulation today without the need of scrubber or SCR system in gas operation. The DF engine has been proven to be more efficient than steam or gas turbine which has been used in the past for main propulsion or generator systems.
