Dang·100 is a special medicinal-purpose food for diabetic patients
containing 1-deoxynojirimycin(DNJ), which is produced through
the fermentation of Bacillus subtilis MORI, a patented fermentation
bacteria traditionally used in Korea.
DNJ is an effective natural ingredient that inhibits the growth of
enzymes involved in the absorption of glucose by the small intestine, thereby reducing
the chances of a sharp increase in the postprandial blood glucose level, and consequently
delaying the absorption of glucose by the blood vessels.

Fasting serum glucose level
- Fasting serum glucose level of the group which feed Dang∙100 for 4 weeks dramatically decreased in comparison with that of the diabetic-induced group and mulberry leaves-feed group.
Oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)
- After feeding Dang∙100 for one month, the blood glucose decreased in comparison with that of two other groups. Based on the experiments, We confirmed that feeding Dang∙100 gives positive effects on blood glucose level and glucose tolerance.
