Description
Rheoflow DS-104 is suitable for medium to high polar coating systems. It reduces the interfacial tension between the hydrophylic pigments/extenders and the hydrophobic binders, forming a lattice structure with the pigments at the same time. And also it effects the controlled flocculation of pigments and extenders.

Advantages
Excellent effective in preventing flooding of titanium dioxide in combination with other color pigments.
Using in anti-corrosion primers and coating systems, in many cases the protective properties are enhanced.
It is not compatible with mineral spirits.
Applications
Solvent based coatings - Vinyls, Acrylics, Epoxies, Urethanes, Alkyds - Epoxy heavy duty paint and floor coatings based on Urethane or Epoxies. - Industrial and architectural coatings - Anti-corrosion systems and coil coatings etc.
Recommended Amounts and Incorporation Methods
The additive amounts : 3~10% based on inorganic pigments, 10~20% based on organic pigments, 0.5~2.5% on titanium dioxide of delivery form. For optimum performance, the additives should be added into the millbase.
