Designers are going to protect this weak point by some coating which has wear resistant and corrosion resistant properties. But there was no such a coating to meet both properties. By above reason, Hankook coatings have developed new composite coating which has corrosion resistant property and wear resistant property.This composite coating consist of aluminum and diffused alumina powder, here, Aluminum protects corrosion and diffused alumina particles protects wear.
