Penetrant Liquid for Galvanizing Flux

Penetrant Flux, quality improving agent for hot dip galvanizing has great influence on the quality of the galvanization as the final pre-treatment process. This is a new product that can improve the quality of your product as a flux additive made from special surface active agent. KB-50 is a product that can cut down the cost and improve the quality of the galvanization by adding a small amount into flux. 1. Physical Appearance Appearance : Bright yellow or bright brown transparent viscous liquid Solubility : Completely soluble in water pH : 6.0~8.0(3% water solution) Smell : Almost odor-free, a little odor unique to surface active agents, but is tis harmless. Inflammability : None Ionic property : Cationic Composition : special amphoteric & Cationic surfactant, Inorganic salts Effective concentration: 40±2.0% 2. Characteristics of effect of Penetrant Flux KB-50 Faulty products can be decreased by improving flux's adhesive power. Faulty adhesion in galvanization can be decreaseed. It can prevent zinc from flying in the plating pot.(Decrease in flying 80~90%) It can decrease in flux's quantity to be used. Flux's circulating can be improved. Zinc Scum or other residuum is reduced.(Zinc Scum can be reduced as much as 30~40%) 3. Cooling Name of Process Content 1.Removal of Fat NaOH, Sodium silicate 5~12% Sol, 60°C x 20-60min. 2.Washing Industrial Water 3.Removal of Rust HCI or Sulfuric acid 5~10%Normal temperature x 20-60minutes 4.Washing Industrial Water 5.Fluxing Solution of 30-50%(Zinc Chloride : Ammonium Chloride=1:3 mol),Temperature 60~80°CKB-50 6.Drying Natural Drying 7.Plating Zn ; 99.97%, Al : 0.002%Temperature : 430-470°C x 1-15min.Settling Speed : 2m/minute at maximum 8.Cooling Industrial Water Notice In case the scum of the flux is not separated properly at the time of cooling, add ammonium Chloride at the rate of 120kg per 10tons of unplated material. There is a little odor unique to surface active agents, but it is harmless. In case low foam is specially required, defoaming agent should be used additionally or you should require low-foaming product. Flying of zinc is condiderably decreased with this product, but you should always be careful when you go near the zinc bath.
